“When You Receive a Prophet, You Receive a Prophet’s Reward” Matthew 10:41

What does it mean to “RECEIVE A PROPHET”?

When you receive a Prophet, you accept or take in the prophetic word being spoken because you recognize the Voice of God speaking through the Prophet.  Then, like the Shunammite Woman in II Kings 4, you acknowledge the Prophetic Gift, the Prophetic Mantle and make a way for the ministry of the Prophet to be fulfilled.

What does it mean to “RECEIVE A PROPHET’S REWARD”?

Look at the story of the of the Shunammite woman. Because this woman knew Elisha was sent by God to speak in her time, she asked her husband to make a room for the Prophet in their home.  She sought to bless the Man of God by providing for his journey and supplying the means to advance his ministry. Soon, she received her “Prophet’s Reward” for the abundant blessing she extended – a child!  The story of the Shunammite woman is alive with the meaning of the “Prophet’s Reward”.  It is that which cannot be purchased, that which can not be brought, the gift of the desire of the heart that only God can grant.

Partnering with a prophetic ministry, sharing in the Vision of HEMI creates an exchange. What is the exchange?   WHEN YOU RECEIVE A PROPHET, YOU RECEIVE A PROPHET’S REWARD.

One day he came there and turned in to the upper chamber and rested. Then he said to Gehazi his servant, "Call this Shunammite." And when he had called her, she stood before him. He said to him, "Say now to her, 'Behold, you have been careful for us with all this care; what can I do for you? . . .  Gehazi answered, "Truly she has no son and her husband is old." He said, "Call her." When he had called her, she stood in the doorway. Then he said, "At this season next year you will embrace a son." And she said, "No, my lord, O man of God, do not lie to your maidservant."  The woman conceived and bore a son at that season the next year, as Elisha had said to her
